At Kasandrinos, our mission is simple: deliver the freshest, highest-quality organic extra virgin olive oil through sustainable farming methods, while standing behind every bottle we sell. Olive oil is more than a product to us – it's a tradition and a way of life that has been central to our family for generations.

That's why we harvest and bottle at peak freshness, so every bottle holds onto the full flavour and health benefits the olives were grown to deliver. From family farms in Laconia, Greece to your kitchen, we take real pride in sharing what genuinely good olive oil tastes like.

We also believe in complete transparency. Every batch is independently tested by a third-party lab to verify purity, freshness, and safety – covering polyphenol levels, acidity, glyphosate, heavy metals, BPA, and phthalates. All results are published openly on this page. Combined with our USDA Organic, Non-GMO Verified, Kosher, Paleo, and Keto certifications, it means that when you choose Kasandrinos, you know exactly what you're getting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find more info about our approach to transparency and quality here.

What is a COA and why does it matter?

A Certificate of Analysis is an independent lab report that verifies exactly what's in your oil – polyphenol levels, acidity, purity, and the absence of contaminants. It's the difference between a brand telling you their oil is high quality and actually being able to prove it.

Why is high polyphenol content important?

Polyphenols are the naturally occurring antioxidants in olive oil responsible for most of its health benefits – including anti-inflammatory properties, heart health, and cellular protection. Most grocery store oils contain 100-300mg/kg. At 917mg/kg, Kasandrinos sits well above what's considered high quality, and well above what most oils ever reach.

What does "Cold Pressed" actually mean?

It means the oil is extracted using mechanical pressure alone, without heat. Heat speeds up extraction but damages the polyphenols, antioxidants, and flavour compounds in the process. Cold pressing takes longer but keeps everything intact – which is why it matters for both taste and nutritional quality.

How do I find the lab results for my specific bottle?

Every Kasandrinos bottle has a harvest date and lot number printed on the label. You can use that lot number to find the corresponding Certificate of Analysis on this page, which covers the specific batch your oil came from.

Are your bottles BPA-free?

Yes. Kasandrinos is bottled in dark glass, which contains no BPA or phthalates. We also independently test for both – and publish those results here alongside our other lab reports.
